painful penis

6 weeks ago while having intercourse with my partner i heard and so did she a snapping sound there was slight discomfort but that was all. Since then my penis is now curving when i get an erection and where it curves is quite floppy and it is still uncomfortable if we have intercourse. I went to the doctor 3 weeks ago with this and he wasnt much help

Thanks, ive been back to the doctors as its still aching badly mostly when i get an erection i did abstain for 2 weeks but thats not really helped i never had an examination the first time or this time, hes just referred me to a urologist .I had to have blood tests as he said thats the only way a get to see a consultant so im just waiting now to see what happens

Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to comment specifically on the situation. Assuming major injuries have been ruled out by the doctor, this is likely to be a mild trauma and should heal well on its own. I would suggest abstinence for 7-10 to give it adequate time to heal. Mild curvature of the penis is normal and should not be anything to worry about.
