What is the problem if it burns a little when I urinate and their is a small amount of white discharge in the morning?

Hello,

I'm a 19 year old male, married and I just recently started having this issue. Lately when I urinate, it hurts a little at the tip of the penis. My wife noticed that some skin was peeling on the head area. In the morning, there is a small amount of white discharge. My wife thought I was drinking too much caffenine, yesterday I drunk all water, and wasn't having a problem, but I noticed when I drink caffeine it burns a little. It is swollen just a little. I know it is not an STD. Me and my wife are Christians and I am faithful to her and I know she is faithful to me. Can anyone help? I thought maybe it was a tear and the penis was secreting puss because of the tear because of my wife and I having sex.. Anyone can help? UTI?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to urinary tract infection, urethritis or even infections like Chlamydia. It can be due to pus if there is any boil or folliculitis in the area. In urethritis, besides pain, other symptoms may include a burning sensation during urination or erection and a discharge from the urethral opening at the tip of the penis.

I feel that you should consult a physician and get a swab sample of the urethra examined under the microscope. It will clear any doubts.Treatment will depend on confirmation of diagnosis.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and all the best.

Hello,
If there is blood in semen then it definitely needs an examination. it is called hematospermia. It can occur due to many conditions such as infections, swellings (inflammations), cysts, stones & other obstructive lesions, and benign or non-benign tumors of the organs of the genitourinary system (involving the bladder, urethra, the testicles, the seminal vesicles, the epididymis, the prostate gland etc). Investigations include blood tests, routine & culture tests of urine & semen, ultrasound & MRI scans of genitourinary system, and histopathological tests (FNAC, biopsy etc). So, I suggest you to consult a urologist for a thorough medical check-up.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thank you Doctor,

Also, lastnight I went to a pharmacy and started taking some medication for UTI. Tonight my wife noticed that the discharge isn't white anymore, but a little yellow mixed with some blood. I am no longer having trouble urinating and it doesn't hurt to urinate. I took a bath and after I got out of the bath, I used the restroom and the discharge was all blood, then later turned back yellow.

I was prescribed AZO UTI. I don't know if you are familiar with it. The pharmacist said it may clear up. Is this suppose to happen after taking this medication, or do you suggest that I may need to go to a clinic?
