sensitive navel area

hi,my navel looks normal but i certain ways i move i get a slight pain in that area also with clothes moving along it or i i tug slightly at the hair around my navel it gets sore and irratable,when its at me i seem to pee alot and sometimes i might hurt around the navel area when id peee, any ideas,42 year old male

the navel looks fine just wheh i rub it or tug at the hair slightly it gets a bit red and sore,also when it at you , you do feel a bowel movement comming on and after u have been to the toilet u feel a bit better

I suggest that you seek consult with an urologist. At this point, the increase in urinary frequency may be due to an underlying infection. A urinalysis will be able to exclude a urinary tract infection.

With regards to the pain in you navel, is there associated redness or swelling in the area?

Are there any lesions in the skin of the surrounding areas?

Any change in bowel movement, a palpable mass or lump in the abdomen or groin?

Any discharge from the navel?

A complete physical examination will be able to help. Avoid unnecessarily touching the area. The skin may be sensitive and may be irritated or injured.
