spermatocele cyst, anti inflammatorys

My son had a spermatocele cyst diagnosed on his testicle a year ago and another one had appeared on his other testicle, his doc has given him anti inflammatory tablets to see if it goes. Is it likely to go with these meds.

Thanks for your reply.
i just didnt want my son worrying if the anti-inflammatory  didnt get rid of the cyst, as he hasnt had an ultrasound on the second one yet. His doc is sure it is the same as the other cyst as it feels the same and is in the same place as the one in the other testicle.
Thanks again.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
There’s no specific medical therapy for the treatment of spermatocele. However, analgesics/anti-inflammatory are given for treating the pain and antibiotics in case there’s associated epididymitis. However, the definitive therapy is spermatocelectomy (surgical removal of the spermatocele). For the same, I’ll suggest consulting a urologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
