swelling and aching of my left testical

hi, recently my left testical has become swollen and very sore, it feels like my tubes are very swollen and are very tender, i did go to my doctor and she thinks it may be epidymitits and gave me medication but has not worked at all and i am still very worried, can anyone help me to put my mind at rest. thankyou

Hi i suffer from the same problem but my right testicle instead. I was told by the doctor and urology department there was nothing they could do for me, i hope you get yourself sorted

thanks for getting back.so your saying that if they both show up ok i should stop worrying. the pain isnt bad and if i could stop worryng im sure it would go away.

Always they call epididymitis, you have to remember that doctors are always guessing based on the information at hand. First they check for torsion, if not torsion then try antibiotics etc for epididymitis, then if those do not work and the ultrasound show up nothing then the pain is either not real or something else that they can't seem to be able to test for.

Annoying I know. I was there for 10 years. Proof is tough. the antibiotics need up to 2 weeks to work. If STDs are at all possible then check that as well.
