urine test indicates 25 -30 WBC puss cells.

My urine ( morning mid stream) test indicates 25 - 30 WBC puss cells.  what is the implications Bacteria is also reported to be "Present+".

iI HAVE BEEN TO DOCTOR WITH C/O BURNING PAIN IN LOWER ABD .WITH NO HISTORY OD BURNING MICT ,NO W/D.I UNDER WENT CUE(ALB-+1,SUGAR -NIL,PUS CELLS -25 TO 30 ,EP -2,RBC-2TO3, BACILLUS-4)USG-SMALL RENAL CALCULI.MINIMAL FREE FULID IN THR POD.ML-4 YEARS ,TRYING TO CONCEIVE FROM 2 YEARS. WITH PAST HISTROY PCOD.

I am (5 months) pragnant and have the same symptoms.. its been more than 2 months that i have this inflammation/burning sensation... my urine R/E test resulted in "Numerous Puss cells count" ... the doc has suggested me "Augmentine" antibiotic... i m very worried would that hamper my child in eitherway!!!!! (1) if the irritation/inflamation continues.. (2) if i use the antibiotic....

please help...

Hi,

Discuss the results with your doctor. This could represent a contaminated sample, or there could be ongoing inflammation and/or infection somewhere along the urinary tract. The decision to treat would be based on the adequacy of collection, the symptoms present, the presence of circumstances like pregnancy (if you are female).
