Am I doing this right?

I am 15 years old, weight 135 pounds and am 5 feet four inches. I'm now overweight but am still really conscious of the body fat that I do have. I've been cutting back on how much sugar I eat and how many calories I take in and have been doing 30 minutes of cardio everyday. I eat a large breakfat, a smaller lunch, and little or no dinner, depending on how hungry I am at the time. I've just started doing all of this and am wondering if it will help or make things worse.

Yeah, right now you are experiencing the inbetween stage of your childhood body and what will be your adulthood body. However, it sounds like the changes you're making are ones that will benefit your overall health which is very good! Just keep eating balanced meals and exercising and you'll look & feel fabulous :)

Hun, right now you still have your "baby fat". I had mine till I was about 19 years old. It is okay to have a couple extra pounds or be a little softer in certain areas. You are still a kid though, so focus on watching your sugar intake and just play like kids do!!~ Go to the mall with friends or find a sport you like. I just wouldn't worry too much about any serious weight loss right now. Since you are self concious about the little fat you have now, maybe try a toning excersize for the areas you are a little soft in. Don't go overboard though as it can lead to serious injury. Hope this helps!!~

You seem perfect. When you are 20 like me, you are going to have all the right curves. It may seem like your not happy with your "body fat" but curves are good. My husband HATES girls who are straight like a board. Though I have too many curves and are aiming for your weight (and Im the same height..well 2 inches shorter) I still love having a bit bigger hips. Embrace your body, do eat healthy though but enjoy what you have.
