My trick has been to allow myself one treat - in my case that's skinny cow ice cream cone 150 calories. That means I don't feel deprived. Not sure that would work for you, but it might help.
I'm going through the same thing now. Maybe limit how much of it you can eat or like the previous comment says, substitute veggies and fruits in. The only problem I see with that is you might binge on sweets after not eating them as much as your sweet tooth wants to.
You have to find substitutions for the problem foods that start your appetite off. No sugary drinks at all. Change to water or tea without sugar or use agave nectar. Fruit is your new sweet. Try veggies for breakfast. Change it up!
