I am making a statement rather than a question.  In 2008 I started doing the HCG diet.  I lost weight but in June of 2008 I was diagnosed with hormone positve invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer.  I  had my annual mammogram in June of 07 and in June of 08 I felt a lump. I can't help but thinking it caused the hormone pos. breast cancer to grow quite fast. It was probably already there. They say cancer can be in our bodies up to 7 years.  Since they use HCG for infertility it makes sense.  There is so much breast cancer today. Taking HCG to diet is taking a big risk because you just don't know if you have the cancer cells in your breast or even possibly in your uterus. It grew so fast it went into my lymph nodes which can be quite dangerous because then it can invade anywhere else in your body. Just wanted send out a warning. :)

Hi, I too had been injecting HCG when a few weeks after stoping I found a lump which turned out to be invasive Ductal carcinoma stage 11. However every oncologist I talked to, I got 3 opinions, told me that HCG could not have been the cause because the size of my tumor (2.3) and the fact it was big enough to feel means it had been growing for over 3 years. I wonder if the reason I even found the lump is because I lost the weight? So I could feel it without all the fat disguising it? I did a lot if research and found that they are doing clinical trials using HCG here is the trial number NCT00808522. Because I too was feeling very guilty that had brought thus on myself by using HCG even though I had it from a Doctor.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for that word of warning.  I'm so very sorry about your cancer and I hope that it's either gone or in remission at this point.

I can't say whether or not the HCG would cause cancer, but I'm not a believer in diets using this type of protocol (or any other drastic means), as I don't think it's good for your body.  I believe that a diet containing all of the food groups in proper proportion and moderate exercise is much better for you.

Again, thank you
