I'm not discriminating against anything; I've seen too many people successfully lose weight on the HCG diet (yes, it does work); the problem is that as soon as they go off that particular diet, they regain all the weight they lost, plus some.
I don't even advocate "the work out, eat less, and then yo-yo back up plan". I advocate determining what you need to do to lose the weight in a safe, steady manner, then implement a plan that you can stick to from now on - in other words, a "life style change" - to avoid regaining; such as eating a sensible diet and getting moderate exercise.
Almost any diet/exercise plan that makes a person go to one extreme or the other is not something a person will stick with for any length of time, so although it may work for the short term, it's not going to have a lasting effect. That's why I suggested the poster ask his questions on the Weight Loss Alternatives forum, because the HCG is an "alternative" to a good diet/exercise program.
I would say this. Turkey is not on the diet. You need to plan better. Have your meats in the frige already portioned out in case you have something like this pop up. ***** you were locked out, but it would have taken you just as much time to weigh out some protein and get it cooked up as it would have to have the turkey dog. Plus if you are going to cheat.....you can do better than that. lol
Hope things go better and the hCG diet is a very good diet that the FDA and others have tried to shut down because it reduces our need for crap foods. Which is the problem in the US anyway. Sadly the people who are against it don't understand it and without any facts want to talk negatively about it. People need to lose weight and yet now even though I am 30 pounds lighter I am some how wrong for trying to be healthy? ODD?
Why not. It works! Just because you don't think it's fair or is viable is not reason to be so negative. Seems to me the work out, eat less, and then yo-yo back up plan does not work either. At least the hCG plan stabilizes you. I am going to say it but your weight lose discrimination is alarming.
We don't advocate the HCG diet on this forum. You might try asking your question on the Weight Loss Alternatives forum.
