Make sure that what you're feeling is actually hunger. Many people mistake "hunger" for boredom or loneliness. Try to get up and do something, like exercise, sweep the floor, etc to take your mind off food. If, after 10 minutes, you still feel that you're hungry, have a snack such as those suggested above.
Hi, well, I think I would build in a night time healthy snack. A piece of fruit, a bit of low fat yogurt/no fat yogurt, a few nuts. If you keep the calories low you will not hurt your diet with a 7 pm snack and many need to help sustain themselves throughout the night. (so agree with above snack ideas).
I personally can not drink loads of water at that time of night or I'll be up all night using the bathroom.
Usually hunger is confused with dehydration. So drinking water may help curb your cravings. However, if you are completely desperate for food, trying eating some fruit (half an apple, grapes, blueberries, etc.) or a low calorie protein (low-fat cottage cheese, nuts, etc.) These will help you feel more full and less tempted to fall into those late night binges!
