Agree .. I'm more apt to eat large healthy salads and cook more chicken recipes when I'm home. Can definitely eat "more" food when you prepare it versus it's prepared pre-package counterpart.
I totally agree. I still have portion issues, so I try to do a lot of low-cal bulky foods. That is all but impossible if you eat out or get convenience foods.
Try to not feel guilty .. feel positive that you are doing something for you! And, in the long run .. it will help you perform better for everything else you want to do. Perhaps use the MedHelp exercise tracker to make you accountable .. and tell a buddy so they watch it and ask you about it.
Am making a promise to myself that I am going to do exercise BEFORE I do the things I enjoy doing. So .. no computer until I exercise .. period! ... and first business, enter it in exercise tracker.
OK, since I'm such a Chatty Cathy, how 'bout this? How can I get over wanting those big portions? I've tried smaller dishes, and I seem to just balance more food in, like the Leaning Tower of Stir Fry...
Yep .. on days where I am super hungry .. I eat at home and choose filling foods. Also, if I'm craving carbs .. I eat protein because my brain knows it stops the carb craving cycle.
Other days when I'm not super hungry, I can enjoy a few more carbs because it doesn't act like a trigger then.
How about you?
Where do you get the mango flavored cardamon spiced tea ? And what is Cardamon? It sounds really really good ...... is it loose tea or in bags?
