And, to clarify, it's a Buckwheat Blueberry waffles, they are gluten free, and it's not processed white flour waffles.
Hello! I'm certainly not qualified, but I will share with you some personal advice that has helped me!
The trick isn't to eat less, it's to monitor what you eat! Weight loss is 30% exercise and 70% eating healthy! When they say "breakfast is the most important meal of the day", they aren't exaggerating, at least not in a weight loss sense. Eating a breakfast is what "kickstarts" your metabolism. Skipping actually slows it, because the body thinks it's starving so it slows your RMR (resting metabolic rate) way down to preserve calories.
As a busy busy student, I understand being crammed in the morning, so my breakfast is a 5 minute, shovel it in, scramble. Therefore, my favorite breakfast is a blueberry waffle (the frozen kind, let's not get too crazy), with some almond stock spread on top (much better alternative to processed peanut butter) , and some thin slices of green apple to top it off. This keeps me full for a good 2 hours. Another alternative if you have even less time than that is the CarbControl chocolate shakes. I put one of those and mix it with some skim milk to add volume, and boom, breakfast made.
To also help with metabolism is to eat a lot of little snacks throughout the day instead of three, large meals. This keeps your metabolism revved up!
Hope this helps!
You need to eat right and diet and exercise! will do the metabolism.
