How are you measuring your calories?

Make sure you weigh everything that is lose and read the labels  on pre packed or tinned stuff -  make sure you write down absolutley everything you eat -  even if it is 1 crisp - 1 biscuit etc....

It is often shocking to see what we actually eat and how high it is... I had a shock to find out the other day that my 'treat' of a macdonalds mcflurry cost me 500 calories... very unfair.

Also what activity are you doing - diet alone wont do it...

Make sure you are drinking enough water too.

Peekawho is right though -  if you dont eat enough the body will go into starvation mode and cling on to every calorie and keep weight -  Of course prolonged starvation does bring weight loss but also muscle loss, bone damage and organ weakness.....

For your height you should be looking at 1800 claories a day.

So try writing it all down and being more accurate with intake -  then work on the activity..... make sure you drink 80z of water every 90 minutes -  keep hydrated and flushed....

Most of all don't give in and stay strong, it will come off eventually :)

Sorry to mention the tabs then.  i am 5'7, 70lb, so you can see its a fare amount! i do not binge or eat sweets so i am furious that the weight is  not dropping off.. i am eating between 1000 to 1200 caloris which i feel is more that enough.  The doctor has no idea's other than sending me to see dietician but what i am eating is very healthy and very low fat so not sure what they can offer.  i am getting 2 dairy, prob only 2/3 fruit, shreddies covers the grain.  protien with very meal.. that would be difficult to have with toast and shreddies.. i never have protien with breakfast.

I'm not exactly sure how much 5 stone is, I'm so sorry!  How tall are you?

The only thing I can think is that perhaps you are not eating enough.  Sometimes if you limit your diet too severely, your body will hang on to every pound it can.

I can tell you that you should be getting at least 2 dairy servings a day, 5 servings of fruits/veggies a day, eating some whole grains and getting some protein at every meal.

I'm not sure what else to tell you.  Have you gone back to your doctor to explain that you are not losing weight at all?

On this forum, we do not really condone diet pills or tablets at all.
