You may be watching what you eat, but are you eating the right amount of calories for you? Maybe you aren't eating enough and your body is holding onto fat stores because there isn't enough food coming in? Or maybe you didn't cut back enough calories?
You have to calculate your calorie intake for your body, it's not just an arbitrary number that you pick from nowhere.
Something else to consider is your medical status... perhaps you have an underlying medical condition that is preventing weight loss, such as hypothyroidism, insulin resistance, or PCOS that is preventing you from losing weight. If the hormones in your body are not balanced correctly, you will have a hard time losing weight. You should ask your doctor to run some simple tests to verify that you don't have a medical issue causing you to retain weight.
In addition, make sure you check side effects of any medications you take... many have weight gain as a side effect and make losing nearly impossible.
