I would never recommend Phentermine because it can be dangerous AND even though you might lose weight on it, you will most likely gain it back once you go off the med.  My new son-in-law and my daughter have done it.......my SIL continues and IS losing weight.  Unfortunately, daughter lost weight on it just long enough to get through her wedding in Sept then quit --- guess what?? She's gained back all + some.......

B12 shots should give you energy, but they are not a weight loss drug.  I take b12 shot every 2 weeks because I am deficient......I can guarantee that it will not make you lose weight, unless you exercise...and if you aren't deficient, it probably won't help you much at all.

All that said, I'd strongly recommend that you ask your questions on the Weight Loss Alternatives forum.........

I just got home from the clinic a little bit ago, yes i've done this program, but you must excersise 30 minutes a day my doctor told me 5 days a week but i'am not sure what your doctor recommened you. If you stay within your caliorie intake and exercise you will lose each week. I weighed 165 at 5'7 and lost three pounds the first two weeks then two for the next two then i stopped and continued on my own becuase after a while your weight loss gradually stops and you have to work out more intensively. although once off the pills you tend to binge but be strong.. i binged and that is why i went back today to start over again :-( its not a good thing to gain and lose , gain and lose, so be strong and remember you are what you eat, if you get cravings for sweets grab a small hard candy which has low calories and within ten minutes you'll get over it and be proud you didn't eat that desert. Good luck. Stay motivated. Don't cheat, your only cheating your self.. God bless!

sorry i dont know of these, B12 are shots but as i am needle phobic these are something i wont be using, i dont do needles, lol,

Phentermine, is an appetite suppressant of the amphetamine and phenethylamine class.

It is approved as an appetite suppressant to help reduce weight in obese patients when used short-term and combined with exercise, diet, and behavioral modification. It is typically prescribed for individuals who are at increased medical risk because of their weight and works by helping to release certain chemicals in the brain that control appetite.
below are the Contraindications and warnings i put these on to point out # 2 as lots of people have thyroid issues

    * Patients with the following should not use Phentermine:

1 Are also taking dexfenfluramine, fenfluramine, furazolidone, guanadrel, guanethidine, or have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (eg, phenelzine) in the last 14 days
2 Have severe high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, glaucoma, heart or blood vessel disease, or severe narrowing of the blood vessels
3 Are in an agitated state, or have a history of substance abuse
    * Some medical conditions may interact with Phentermine, patients with the following should consult with their doctor before using phentermine:
4 Are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
5 Are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
6 Have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
7 Have a brain or spinal cord disorder, hardening of the arteries, high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol or lipid levels
    * Some medicines may interact with phentermine, such as the following:
8 Dexfenfluramine, fenfluramine, furazolidone, or MAOIs (eg, phenelzine) because the risk of serious side effects, such as increasing headache, high blood pressure, slow heart rate, elevated temperature, or possibly fatal lung problems, may be increased

sorry cant be more helpful
