I dont understand this literal "overnite gain" !!

Hey everyone . I am really frustrated and hope someone has an answer for me. I am 49 y.o. female, work out everyday doing either cardio or weights and yoga . I eat well/no junk. Now, I dont know if this is due to perimenopause or the fact that I started taking Advil a couple days ago for some inflammation...i usually hold steady at about 107.8-108 lbs (I am only five feet 1 inch tall). Today... I get on and see a 2 lb jump?? could this be related to the fact that I started on Advil sunday (about 600 mg a day) or what? can someone answer this for me? I am so mad at myself for the weight gain, but the logical part of my brain tells me that there HAS to be a valid reason for it, and that it must be fluid gain! My clothes dont seem to fit any differently,I will say that my fingers are swollen, so am thinking it might be fluid? Anyone ever go thru this w/taking anti inflammatories?? Thanks.

Yes I do in the am. But am back to normal after stopping the Advil! I swear, when I stopped, I got rid of extra fluid, let's just say! Thnx for the response :)

There are a lot of reasons for jumps on the scale. Maybe awaiting a BM? Fluid from extra salt. Just ate a meal. Always weigh at the same time. I weigh in the morning after I go to the bathroom.

I am on a low carb diet. So if I even go off track for one day I expect a 2 pound gain. It's water.

We are women and we will flucuate. Don't worry too much. Start weighing in the a.m only when you weigh!
