need advice for mom

Hi,

My mom is 46 yrs old she is 5'5 and around 188 pounds.
She eats too less as her appetite is bad since many years but still her weight has increased .
she does all the household work by her self , i worry a lot about her as she is getting old and she is also having spine problem,
please can someone give suggestions , how can she loose weight ??

My age 43yrs, 65kg, every my moth weight had in creased & spent $ for diet products,but still  no results , now i m using L5~chocolate weight loose product, in market too many choices so i need suggestions, MHC~miracle hot chocolate, Bonjour Bonsoir, Shape up Clean up, Green Shape, Nutri trimm~which one better? Tq

But the problem is she do not have any thyroid problem or any other illness, she started gaining weight after my birth.. and she has not gained any more weight since some 4-5 years .... although she eats healthy walks everyday for about 30-40 mins and she also practice yoga since 4 yrs..
I don't know why she is not loosing weight ..
Doctors don't have any answer , they just says everybody is different etc etc
I don't want that she starts taking all those meds for weight loosing , because they have many side effects..
But i would like to know from someone who have lost weight with some changes in diet ??

After the age of forty our body metabolism slows down. Fluctuating hormone levels, menopause all impact a woman’s health. After menopause a woman’s progesterone level comes down which causes water retention, bloating and leading to increased weight .Stress, bad eating habits, consumption of sugary foods all can lead to increased weight gain in woman after the age of 40.Thyroid hormone imbalance is another possible cause of unexplained weight gain. Your mother should have a healthy diet coupled with a good exercise schedule to lose weight. A heavy breakfast, light lunch and dinner should be consumed daily. A daily brisk walk of 30 minutes will keep her fit and healthy.Inspite of this if she is unable to lose weight seek medical help. She may need investigations like thyroid tests and the advice of a nutritionist. Do keep us posted.
