WW Flex Plan-Regarding Quinoa

The nutritional facts regarding  1 cup of quinoa are as follows:

Calories= 626
Total Fat= 10.3
Fiber= 11.9

This equals 13 (yes 13) WW points, yet on the WW website they say that 1 cup of quinoa =4 points!
How do they figure that? Is it an error? I LOVE quinoa, but I can't afford to eat it at that rate! Even 1/2 a cup is 6.5 points!

Okay, finally found a site that gave me info. on  one cup of cooked quinoa. You were right Peek!

Calories=222
Total fat=4
Fiber=5

Total = 4 WW points. Now that's more like it!

Why do they even bother giving nutritional facts on something that can't be consumed until it is cooked??? Oh well, good news for me. I can eat one cup of quinoa and not be bothered that I'm eating 2/3 of my points away.

I just assumed that it was 1 cup cooked quinoa. Who the hell would eat it dry? Lol.....I'll have to look into that.

Per my box:

1/4 cup dry

172 cals
2.8 gms fat (and its good fat!)
3 gm fiber

by my calculator this is 3 pts, and again...ZERO for Core!

This would be more in line with 1/2 cup cooked, maybe a bit more.

Is it for 1 cup dry?  That makes a huge difference.

Go with WW figures.  On Core, I don't even have to count it!
