phentermine belly bloat

I have been taking phentermine 37.5 for months now and I have gained 6 pounds I am constantly bloated I just started 25 milligrams of topomax 2 times a day and still no weight loss I have all but stopped drinking sodas drink only water. I feel basically like I have no life I just eat salad a little meat here and there and low calorie snacks. I am so bloated I have decided I am not taking one more phentermine my belly was not swollen until i started taking the medication I drink several bottles of watet a day I stay in the bathroom early last week had lots of bowel movements then stopped around the weekend and have not had one since i hate adipex gaining weight and bloating is worse than being fat. What am I doing wrong?

Yes, it could be the salad, if you eating a lot more than normal. If all you're eating is salad and little meat, it could also be a lack of fiber.  You need a variety of veggies, whole grains and a little fruit to provide enough fiber.  Drinking too much water, without enough food can also cause bloating.

You might try eating an apple, with the skin on, every day and see what happens. For me, an apple works just like taking a laxative.

Did you eat as much salad before the medicine or did you start eating salad often when you began the med?  Wondering if its the salad giving you trouble.  I have IBS and certain varieties of lettuce cause terrible symptoms for me.
