Two shakes a day, a couple small meals like a can of tuna, some chicken sausages, hard boiled eggs etc. ..
Then I eat a full salad, veggies and a meat for dinner. I'm TRYING to loose weight and get healthier BUT even in doing all of this...I am ALWAYS exhausted. I also have a hernia and ulcers that keep me up at night. I spend a lot of time trying to breathe and not choke on my own fluids.
Sorry if that's too much information :)
That's an awful lot of protein... my doctor has me on a high protein diet, 108 grams/day and most days I can't make that, even with a couple of shakes.
Are shakes and water all you plan to consume? If so, that's not good or sustainable. In addition, weight lost too and not in a healthy manner will most likely be regained as soon as you start eating normally again, even if maintaining a healthy diet.
Sorry - thought it would let you choose which nutrients to track, but it only gives a list of the ones that are tracked... I think it used to let you choose, but they changed it... anyway, protein is on that list, so you should be tracking it, when you enter food data. To access the list, open your food diary and on the right hand side, you will see "settings" in blue letters. Click on that and it will bring up the page on which you enter your stats; scroll down that page and you will find a list of nutrients; apparently, you can't change the nutrients you track, but you can change the amount of each you want to get consume each day.
Hi Barbara; and thanx for the reply. I was on Herbalife and $300 later not one pound lost. I have now switched to a GNC shake and my goal is 132g Protien on 1321 calories a day along with a bunch of water which Isn't a problem for me.
How does that sound to you? Also...how do I "tell it" which nutrients to count? Thanks! !
You can tell it which nutrients to count.
