2nd round of Clomid 100mg

This is my 2nd month on clomd 100 mg. I am also taking Geritol-vitamins which I heard is suppose to help you get pregnant also. I am worried because I am 34 and have not gotten pregnant since I had a miscariage in feb. 2008. I have a 6 year old son. I also took clomid 50mg for two months and didnt not get pregnant. I take ovulation test and ovulate every month with or with out clomid. I also get my period every month, my cycle is every 28 days. The first time I took clomid 100mg it made my period late 4 days. Can anyone share some light :o)

Thank you camdynrae, your post gave me hope. I am on my 2nd dosage of clomid (1st -50mg, 2nd 100mg) and I was becoming doubtful as I am still not ovulating. I will ask my doctor for a 3rd round of clomid but will ask for 150mg and ask him to do an ultasound. Thanks again.
Congrats on your pregnancy.

Did your doctor look into increasing your dosage at all?  I started out on Clomid 50 mg, increased to 100 mg and finally got preggo on 150 mg, on cycle 5.  I read that the average person on clomid gets pregnant on either the 5th or 6th cycle, so it's possible that you weren't on it long enough.  My doctor also did a follicle study ultrasound every cycle on on day 14 to see how many mature follicles I had and when they would release.  On 150 mg, I had 3 mature follicles, while on the lower dosages I only had 1.  3 definately increased my chances and apparently worked :)  Hopefully this makes sense and helps you . . . maybe you just gave up too soon.

hi there! just wanted to say that I was on Clomid 100 mg for 2 cycles and it did mess up my hormones and I did not get pregnant on it; I do get my period every 32-34 days and I do ovulate every month on my own..I have stopped taking clomid since it was not really helping me...
but then, a lot of women do get pregnant on Comid..
If you do ovulate every month on your own, maybe it's not the right drug for you...just my opinion...
