Itchy

I have a raised red rash on my inner thighs close to the anal area. Not sure if it is contact dermatitis, hives, yeast, etc. I treated with Monostat for a few days but it is still there. I am unable to post a picture from my iPad.

Thank you so much for your comment. The rash has cleared up (thank goodness) thanks to a prescription cream I had gotten for another rash. Glad I still had some on hand.

JosieSi,
I am not an over weight lady but I am healthy, thick I guess you'd say.  I have big legs, always have even when I was much smaller. I sometimes have that problem and it's usually caused by my thighs rubbing together, mostly during the summer time.  I also have a pair of pants that it always happens with, not really sure if it's the material and the rubbing.  However, I found that wearing loose clothing at night, something that also covers my legs helps and you can apply diaper rash cream on it (Destin) .  It doesn't completely clear it up that night but it does seem to knock it down a bit.  I do this several nights in a row until it is gone.
