Am I pregnant?

Me and my partner have been trying for a baby since October I have just started having some strange feelings, I have read up on these and found out they could mean I'm pregnant although I had my preriod last week, day late and a lot lighter than normal, I rechecked on when I had intercourse last month and realised I happened to have intercourse on my ovulation date, could I be pregnant although I had my period just not as normal as I tend to have, my symptoms are, tiredness, loss off appetite, on and off I start feeling sick, (not yet been sick) and i have had on and off head aches, I did a test but it was neg could it just be to early to tell? 3/4 weeks ago was my ovulation date. Please help.

An ectopic pregnancy is one in which the fertilized egg implants itself in the fallopian tube rather than in the uterus. If not found early on, when it grows large enough, it will rupture. The baby is always lost but can also be a life or death situation for the mom. It's a condition you do NOT want to left untreated.
I'm glad you will be seeing your doctor soon.

Test again. You didn't say exactly when you did the first test and it MAY have been too early. If this second test is negative, I think it might be a good idea to see your OB/GYN regarding the change in your periods and all the other symptoms you're having.
I absolutely do not want to alarm you and I may be very wrong about this, but you definitely want to rule out an ectopic pregnancy.
A friend of mine had one and she also a period that was much lighter than normal. She did not have the other symptoms you have. She had pain and cramping.
If it was me, I'd see the doctor as soon as I could.
I wish you the best
