Anyone out there with a successful rectovaginal repair?

I recently had a baby and had a 4th degree tear. Now I have developed a rectovaginal fistula. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing and if you had the surgery to correct it? What type of surgery did you have and what  was recovery like? Thanks

Have you had the repair? Was it successful? I had a 4th degree tear, had a repair done and developed an infection and rectovaginal fistula.  I am beyond frustrated.  It also appears as though the infection is a antibiotic resistant bacteria.
