Belly lump- Lipoma?

I have had a small hard lump in my belly fat for years now. I seems to feel worse when I lean against something but the pain is rare and only occurs when pressure is applied. The lump has not grown in size since I first noticed it about 3 years ago. Does anyone have experience with something like this? I have to been to the doctor so often for other things that I hate to keep going back with new things and seem like a hypochondriac. It does not bother me 95% of the time but when it does I tend to worry. I have researched lipomas but most of them seem to be painless and this one feels achy from time to time.

Any advice would be great.

This is one to have checked. It could be cyst or just fatty scar tissue from a trauma, but it could also be something else. NEVER feel like a hypochondriac when it comes to your health. Its good that you are self aware and wonder about your body.
If you go to the doctor, then you can have peace of mind. If its something, then you got it soon enough to do something aobut it. If you wait it could be a bad choice; the longer you let something go the more damage it can do in your body if it is something to worry about. Be happy you felt it, go have it checked out and report back what it is so we know.
