Gallbladder Pain!!!!

I am in severe pain. It comes a couple hours after I eat something that is fatty or greasy. The pain is always under my right rib cage and can last for a few minutes to a hour or so. My pain started after I had to have an emergency c-section with my daughter. I dont have insurance and really cant afford it or surgery at the moment. Is there anything I can do? I know I have to change my diet but is there anything that helps the pain go away faster? Please help, I cant deal with this pain.

I agree with KD.  You will need to have this taken care of.  The pain is caused by the over production of bile due to fatty meals and gallstones.  If you eat a meal high in fat, etc. extra bile is produced sending your gallbladder into overtime.  During this process, stones will get caught in the ducts leading to your stomach causing the pain you are experiencing.

The pain subsides when the stones become unstuck.  I can tell you, the night I found out, it took nearly 12 hours for the stone in my duct to become  unstuck.  If the problem is ignored, you may wind up having a diseased gallbladder and then emergency surgery to remove it.

I know it's difficult but you cannot be refused medical attention based on your income.  Please find the time to get this taken care of for the sake of yourself and your child.  Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do but surgery :( i had it right after i had my daughter too i thought it was from holding her because mine started in my back and as months went on it got to my front. But i looked into ALL alternatives and even changing your diet is not going to prevent it. The doctors told me it came from extra estrogen my body produced from having a girl. I can tell you that the after part of surgery helped me better but the whole experience was worst than child birth! Sorry to say think you should consult a doctor and get it removed, because putting it off can cause other problems! good luck!
