It's very possible to become pregnant while being overweight, although I don't recommend it. Being pregnant can be incredibly hard on the body. The way my midwife and Bradley Method coach said it is that you're basically training for a marathon. Having a fit and healthy body not only helps you during pregnancy, but helps your baby too. I'm considered overweight right now being 5'1 and 157lbs (and that's after losing some weight too). I sought guidance from a dietician and a nurse practitioner who placed me on Jardiance and Metformin. Most of my weight was caused by my PCOS, but the Metformin helps regulate my cycles.
Hi there I have two cousins who are overweight one of them has two children and the other one had a baby a year ago neither one of them had trouble getting pregnat.... Although every woman's body is different I agree with specialmom you may want to start exercising and eating healthy best of luck
I have read about that. Being too skinny or too heavy can affect conception. Honestly though, these are just theories. When trying to have a baby, you feel like the moon and starts have to line up perfectly, don't you? If you feel your weight may hinder pregnancy, I'd try to lose some of it. Add exercise into your daily life and begin cutting calories and eat healthy. good luck
