Should I be concerned? Missed period- Abnormal bleeding- HPV

I am sexually active, however my bofriend and I are very safe when it comes to protection. I have been on birth control on and off for about 7 years now and on this specific kind for a year straight. We also use condoms.

I compleatly skipped a period about about a month back.  I took multiple pregnancy tests and all were negative. I finally got it then had 3 periods in a row that were 2 weeks apart.

My periods have never really been 100% predictable- change every month by a couple of days/ week tops.

I also have HPV. I discovered I had it about 3 years ago. The last check up I had was a little less than a year ago. They say I have low-grade squamous cells and just monitor it at my next check up in a year.

Is this something I should be concerned about? Can this be related to HPV?

Thanks!

I think you should consult with a doctor. It is a matter of concern.

Hi,
You should make an appointment for a pelvic exam with your gynecologist, just to be on the safe side. Only your doctor could determine if this is your birth control wreaking havoc with your hormones and menstrual cycle, or if it's a recent change in cervical cells that is causing the problem. Since you've been keeping track of your cycles, be sure to share this info. w/ your doctor during your appointment. Take Care
