Cramping after sex

After my husband and I have a romp I experience cramping. It's not every time. It's been twice in the past 2 weeks that it has happened. The first time the cramping was so painful, I had to take tylenol and lay down, and it took like and hour and a half to subside..The cramps were much stronger than menstral cramps. This 2nd time was yesterday evening. It wasn't as bad yesterday, but there was still like cramping and a warm sensation in my lower abdoman. It does not hurt in the process, except in certain positions...I have had a history of ovarian cysts. I do not know if that's what this is or not. I have no signs or symptoms of a vaginal infection...and am in a monogamous relationship.I have googled cramping after intercourse, but can only find info on painful intercourse. If this continues I will go see my dr. Has anyone with cysts ever experienced this??

I also cramp after sex; not all the time, but when i do, it IS painful & uncomfortable. Especially when i'm laying down certain ways. i usually have to lie still on my back for a bit in order for them to go away. I do not have any STI's and i'm sure i dont have ovarian cysts. So i dont think cysts are the problem. I'm not sure why this occurs, but if you find out any helpful information, i would appreciate it if you'd pass it along. Good luck! & i hope all is well :)
