spotting, no period, not pregnant

I stopped taking my birth control pills 4 months ago, then i had 1 normal period but for the last 3 mos ive had only light pinkish spotting. Ive taken 2 pregnancy tests which were negative. I'm also having some whitish discharge and a slight general vaginal irritation. It isn't smelly or thick and i have no pains, cramping or painful intercourse. I lost my insurance and cant see my obgyn, anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions? I may see how much those at home vaginal infection tests are, has anyone used one before? should i take another preg. test?  Thanks

Glad to hear that you received some piece of mind and I hope that changing your soap does indeed help you.  Once again best wishes and God bless as well!

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my post! I appreciate your answer! I did just start using new soap, so I'll try switching. I hope everything is normal, there's some scary possibilities out there, but your advice has given me some peace of mind :)
Thank you, God bless!

Since birth control pills are primary made of hormones taking them will always have some kind of side of effect on your menstrual cycle.  Your discharge sounds normal-just another way of your body cleansing it's self.  The irritation maybe coming from the type of soap, laundry detergent and even the fabric of your panties.  Try changing one of those three if not all three.  Best wishes and God bless as well!
