Do i have an infection, disease, or is it my hormones?

I am 20 years old. I have had this reoccurring vaginal discharge that is very thick to the point where if it scratch it, the discharge rolls up into balls (like lint). The discharge is white and has no smell. It sometimes get to the point where it is so itchy it is raw after itching. This issue just comes and goes (with no treatment) and has been for months. I have one sex partner. Please help! I am also on birth control Apri and have been having extreme acne under my jawline on my neck (I read this is hormonal). Please give me your input on what you think is wrong.
