symptoms of vuvla redundent colon are, really bad abdominal pain, Nausea, Constipation and frequency of pain ( the pain level may vary), also a distended belly.
i would suspect that you have endo tissue either in or on your bowel, ct scans and ultrasounds/ orendo scopes can not detect alot of stuff,,thats why many good doctors us a diagnostic laproscope surgery ( minor surgery)( technically removing a splinter is surgery) anyways a lap scope lets one see visually exactly what is present, and allows for a easy biopsy. Not even suggesting you need a biopsy. I strongly suspect your bowel/ endo is related and complicating each other.
when I had my hysterectomy my left ovary was engulfed in endometrial tissue and adheared to my bowel was causing some torsion ( twisting) resulting in some rectal bleeding...endo has gone as far as to a patients lungs (rare) it does strange odd things a troublesome condition...Best wishes,,,hope this helped just a bit,,,Cherie
Thank you for your comment, I feel like I'm doing circles with being refered to consultants and then ending back at Gyne!! I got an appointment through this morning to see a colorectal specalist, One thing I'm happy about is that he has worked with my Gyne on endo bowel resections in the past.
Hopefully I'll get somewhere now.
Thank you again and it really has helped.
