Feel weakness/fatigue around time of Period/ Noticing changes

Im about to enter my 30s and I am noticing some changes with my period and how it affects me.  In my teens,  I used to have irregular periods with major heavy flow but that changed once I had children.  Now,  they are regular and pretty normal (rarely heavy flow).  I recently had some blood work done (check-up) all of which came back normal which leads me to ask this question:  Around the time of my period I notice that I feel extremely fatigued.  Sometimes,  the feeling is comparable to that of fainting.  Not sure if this is normal.  I never used to feel that way but I realize that I am getting older now.  I am not anemic nor do I have any vitamin deficiencies.  My heart is excellant and Im in great shape.  My diet has room for improvement (chips and cookies are a fun snack!).  So,  does anyone else experience this strange feeling too?   I have never passed out.  I do not get light headed or anything else associated with fainting other than feeling tired, weak like a vampire drained me,  and dizzy.

You're welcome :)  Ohhhh I do love that idea about the Cookie Gals!  I would go through a month's worth of cookies in a week, maybe less, seriously!  lol

Thank you, darling.  We should start a club called the Cookia Gals because this time of the month makes me stash the pantry with enough cookies for months...except I eat them all within a week! LOL.  Okay, okay, Im exaggerating but I do crave those cookies.

I feel dizzy and faint around this time.  So, thank you for sharing your symptoms and for relating because it is so easy to feel alone when one is not well.

Hi,
Well I'm 38 and I've only been experiencing this feeling around my periods the last 6 months and in fact was telling somebody last night how sick/dizzy/faint I felt and then this morning I started.  Hmmmm, not sure what's going on but just wanted to let you know you're not alone!  Chips and cookies lol, I love them, especially this time of the month!  Hopefully you figure out what's going on, if anything.  Thankfully you are in great shape :)
