Gastro or cardiovascular?? I'm so confused and worried

Hello, I'm a 26 year old female and am having multiple symptoms that, so far, have gone undiagnosed. It started 5 years ago. I had crippling pain in my lower left abdomen. Like horrible stabbing and burning. Sometimes it lasted 3 hours causing me to vomit. I went to the ER and was told that I had a pelvic strain! I insisted it was something else so the dr. Did a pelvic exam. He said I may have had a ovarian cyst. He said this was normal and just to rest. I had just had my daughter via c-section 6 months earlier and was on mirena iud. The pain was dull but there all the time.I had the mirena removed to see if that would help. After a while it faded away. A short time later it happened again and I remembered the Dr. Said it was normal so I just dealt with it. I've been just dealing with it for about 5 years now about 4-5 times a month.

Now I'm having new symptoms. On top of the occasional crippling explosions I'm getting dizzy all the time. I feel like there's a layer of fog over me all the time. My ears tingle and ring and I can't hear  very well. I'm exhausted all the time even though I get plenty of sleep. Coffee doesn't help. When I lay on my back I can visibly see my pulse in my belly button. 3 times this week I've fainted, not for long but long enough to realize I'm on the floor. After wich I'm always confused. Takes me a moment to remember what I was doing. I have a hard time making my words come out, my tongue just forgets how to work. I almost always have a headache and nothing makes it go away. It's tolerable but distracting and I'd say theyre at least half the day at varying times. No patern.

When I have to urinate I HAVE to go or it will leak out! No warning and I have maybe a minute to get there! But the next time I go, it's normal! No uti or kidney infection. My gyno says this is not gynecological. None of it, so why have my periods gone from 3-4 days to 1-2 days? Is this gastro as he says? I don't know what to do! I have no insurance and don't want tests I don't need. Can anyone help me?

It's hard to say what could cause it without knowing your diet and exercise norms.  Sometimes eating healthy isn't enough.  Things like not eating breakfast can lead to diabetes.

Rereading your post, I can see it translating as a blood sugar issue as well.  Your blood sugar was definitely low for having just eaten.  You should probably start carrying little candies around in your purse and have one if you start feeling the way you've been feeling and maybe have something like orange juice on hand when you're at work for times when you really start feeling that way.  If it helps, it could definitely be that you've developed hypoglycemia.

Yes, they've made no secrets about the expenses! I had new issues yesterday. On top of the normal fatigue I got a sudden rush feeling in my head and collapsed at work. I've fainted before but this time was weird. Afterward I was shaking. The nurse on duty tested my blood sugar, I was at 49! I had just had my lunch break 30 minutes prior. I ate half a roast beef sandwich, 20oz bottle of water and indavidual pack of wheat thins. I've never had blood sugar problems before, I'm starting to panic. What would cause sudden blood sugar problems with no history of it?

The abdominal could still be because of cysts, though I'm not sure how your doctor could feel good enough saying you "may" have them without checking for sure.  Did you mention that ovarian cancer runs in the family?

Depending on the hospital/doctor's office you go to, you may need a referral to see anyone who would examine at your CNS, so you may need to keep the GI specialist appointment, though I know healthcare is expensive, especially without insurance.

Hmm, that's a good idea. Never thought ofn my cns. I could see that effecting all of my sensory issues. I'm still dumbfounded about my pain if it's not cysts. I tried googling, big mistake! I appently have everything from ovarian cysts to bowel cancer. Why is this so mysterious? I just want answers, to know if I'm suffering because of something minimal or if something is horribly wrong.

My grandmother on my mothers side died of cervical cancer, on my fathers side my grandmother died of ovarian cancer. Both his sisters have cervical cancer and his uncle died from lymphoma. But everyone insists its not gyno. Could they have missed something? I had an ultrasound and they tested my urine and blood for an infection. Would anything cancerous "leap out" at them or is that something you have to be searching for?

I have an appointment with a GI specialist but I'm not sure that's the route to go.

It sounds like your CNS is being affected by something.  You need to see a doctor and find a satisfactory answer.  I doubt this is gastro-related.  The dizziness alone would have me think Vertigo, but you are having all sorts of other central nervous system related symptoms and you need to see a doctor to determine what it is.  I know you don't have insurance, but this is potentially something serious and you need to have it looked into.

Stress and illness of any sort can cause your period to shorten or completely stop, so that potentially explains your shortened period.
