HELP ME!!

For some reason my vagina has been smelling like "fart" i dont know why because it doesnt smell like it all the time.i feel its mainly when im in an environment that im not confortable with..it doesnt have a fishy smell or discharge i guess, its just been smelling like a fart. Ive never liked the way i smell down there but back in like sept or oct is when i really started feeling like i smelled bad,but its only now that it smells like a fart. At one time it smelled like garbage. I'd say that was around the of end feb or mid march...
The reason i say it could just be happening because my environment is because im in college, im here all week and 9 times out 10 im goin to smell it at some point but when i go home on the weekends or over a break i dont smell it. I read that it could just be old blood but im terrified that i could have an std..someone please help??!

Hi there.  Welcome.  There are various folds and such in that area.  Bacteria can get trapped in these and then have an odor.  It can be unpleasant.  One thing you can do is to use a small bit of antibacterial hand soap and wash the area in the shower.  Not up inside but the area outside.

STD's don't smell.  :>)  Now, if you develop just a thin consistency, whitish, grey discharge and it stinks (especially after intercourse), that is bacterial and you need to see a doctor.

Does your college have a clinic?  Mine did---  for students.  So, you could go and see a doctor.  OR, you could go to Planned Parenthood for a pelvic exam.  That might be good just to make sure all is well hon.

never douche.  good luck
