Hi,

My boyfriend of three years and I had intercourse about two weeks ago, a day or two after I had finished my period. I am worried because he had barely pulled out as he started to *** and at the same time said the condom started slipping. It's been about a week and a half since then and I masterbated twice and each time I bled for a short time and then it stopped, and then for the rest of the day I would feel a slight cramping on just one side of my lower stomach. This has NEVER happened before until after this past intercourse, with the condom issue. I am getting a pregnancy test done this weekend, but could this bleeding be sign that I am pregnant?

Thank you for your time!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This condition is called post coital bleeding. It is most commonly seen in vaginal infection like Chlamydia, gonorrhea, vaginal inflammation etc. it could also be due to disease of endometrium that is lining of uterus, polyps (mass) in uterus and cervix, fibroid tumors etc. You should consult a gynecologist and get it evaluated.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
