Hair-loss is making me miserable

I've been losing hair for the last couple of months; however, these past few weeks have gotten to the point where you can see my scalp in two parts near the front. I literally want to cry every time I brush my hair and see chunks of my hair on the brush.  I had a baby and breastfed for the past 4 months but am not sure if that may have something to do with it. I really need some advice, and I can't go with a doctor because I can't afford it at this time. Like I said i recently became a mother and I'm also a college student.

I am glad that you have stopped worrying about your hair loss.
Yes, it is sad to loose our hair but I am sure it will grow back. (an old saying I heard:  GOD wants our babies to see our face nice and big so he takes away our hair for our baby to enjoy their moms') lol.
Worries are also a main reason for hair loss.
So be happy enjoy your little bundle of joy.
Take care and god bless.

Dear friend of mine once shared this treatment warm olive oil applied to wet hair. I have personally tried this and it works wonders with hair.

Yes, I totally agree with old_before-my-time.  When we give birth our hormones changes,  Hair loss is a side effect after child birth.  Do not worry so much. you will get your hair back.  Worries are #1 killers.  Please do not worry, enjoy your baby and  happy breast feeding.  You will have your hair back.

Take care.

I know how devastating it can be to lose hair. I lost a huge amount after an unnecessary hysterectomy (MOST are unnecessary). I recall losing hair after giving birth but I did not lose nearly as much as after the hysterectomy. It is normal to lose hair after giving birth because hormones are changing drastically. A trip to the doctor would be a waste of money because they will likely tell you the same thing. Your hair should grow back.
