I am going to see on. I ham 51. No sex recently. Wondered about estrogen dominance. Had a small gush about a month ago when sleeping. Last eve it was a big gush. Clear fluid but a lot. Had to change pjs. I’m thinking cyst or estrogen dominance.
I came here searching a few days ago b/c I had the same issue. Two early morning “gushes” in a row with tapering off through the day. Never anything like this before. Went to my OB/Gyn today. She said the clue for my situation was that it happened at Night primarily. She said my PH is off. For me, it’s due to the high sugar content I ate over Christmas holidays, which I normally don’t. She told me to take 1 TBSP of organic apple cider vinegar diluted in water and drink once a day for at least a few weeks. Also, to add 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of it to my bath water & sit in it a few times per week. She said my vagina was too alkaline & they need to be more acidic. Told me to start off ingesting so my internal systems could get acidic, then focus on the baths to get the external fixed next. Other than that, I’m supposed to take quality probiotics pills. Very relieved that it wasn’t a cyst or infection in my case (no bad odor, itching or pain in my case, just the fish of fluid). Hope this helps someone.
This post is so old I'm not sure if anyone will see this but I was doing some googling and came across this thread. This happens to me every month starting about a week after my period and lasts about 5 days. It is apparently my tubes filling up with fluid and draining. Any way, if I maintain a vegan lifestyle (very difficult for me) it stops. My gyno says that the added hormones in all the meat and dairy we're too much for my body.
Hi I also am having this problem. For the last 3 days I've literally felt like I'm peeing myself randomly throughout the day. It started happening after I went swimming 3 days ago but I haven't gone since. Now the discharge comes out feeling very warm, like how it feels when you go pee after being in a pool for a long time. I'm really confused because the warmth is new. Is anyone else experiencing warmth or is this just me??
Hi folks--I'm equally disgusted that doctors don't seem to know what this is because obviously it's happening to a lot of women, but after an exhaustive internet search (my doctor was no help, she thinks I wet the bed and had to have ignored 90% of what I told her to come to that conclusion), I think it's probably a cyst that formed in the vagina and showed no symptoms until it burst, and for some of us it was one and done, and others who have it repeating might be the cyst re-closing and re-filling with fluid and then rupturing repeatedly or leaking consistently. I'm not a doctor, but a friend of mine years ago told me her doctor found a cyst in her vagina that was several inches LONG--along side the wall of her vagina, which is why she didn't really notice it (our vaginas are meant to expand to accommodate sex and childbirth) but she said that the doctor drained the fluid and it was 1-2 cups worth of clear fluid. So that's my best guess. I do think if it's something that happens to you repeatedly, you should go to your doctor and INSIST that they make an effort to figure this out. And I'd recommend a gyno, at least they should have more experience than a general doctor in this area. Specifically ask them to look for evidence of a cyst, full or ruptured, and see if that helps to guide them. But at least if it is just a cyst, it's almost certainly not going to kill you--just disturbing on so many levels :). Be vigilant and demand that your doctors hear you. We deserve to be listened to!
