Is there a home hormone test to check for menopause or peri-menopause, I can purchase without going to the doctor?

Thanks for the information. I guess I do need to go to the doctor to get things checked out, because I think I'm going thru the change. I'll be 49 in January.

Hi there. Well, there is a really unreliable home test that checks FSH level which is one of the things checked for menopause. This test is widely considered hard to correlate to an actual blood test so is not a good indicator. And it is just one thing they check. They also have to rule out issues of the thyroid that look like peri menopause.
So, there is a home test but the doctor is really where you'll get the best information. good luck
