How long did it take you to conceive after Mirena IUD removal?

Has anyone had the Mirena IUD and had it removed to ttc. I am just curious how long it took you to conceive after Mirena IUD removal?  How long until your menstrual cylces were regular? I got my IUD out on Aug 5th and am ttc. I have had lots of spotting and maybe a period but nothing regular.  I called my doc and they said that it takes 3 months before the hormones are out of your system. The mirena website makes it sound as though you can get pregnant anytime after removal.  Any advice/stories would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I totally know how that is, testing and being kinda glad, but a part of you wishes it was a BFP!! It is great that you will add to your brood when the timing is right!

I am doing okay, wishing I would have this baby already! I am 39 weeks today! YAY! Now come on out little baby!!!!!!!
This is one of the hardest parts of being pregnant, in my opinion!!!!!!!
Having a ton of contractions but none that are regular! UGH! I am dilated to a 1 and 50% effaced, so that is good I guess! I am sure that I might be more now, that was last week so hopefully I have dilated a bit more and effaced some too, would be good to know these contractions are doing something!!!!!!!
This baby is a little girl, Evelyn Faye. We are so excited to be having another little girl, her and my DD, Lilah, will be good friends! She is 2 now so a good age to have another little one!
We are open to more children, we love being parents, love kids, and DH always wanted a big family, but we will see, don't know if we will or not.
So that is my update for now.  Take care all you lovely ladies!!!!!!

WOW 30 weeks already!!!!!!!!!! Whoo hooo!!!!!!!! I am so so so happy for you that things are going well! Hope you don't have GD and have to worry about messing with testing your blood and all that dumb stuff! Sounds like you won't! I am border line too, so docs don't really treat me any differently, so I am glad for that!!!!
Let us know how the 3D ultrasound goes! Hope you will post a pic!
I am the same way, I would like to make sure that this baby is for sure a girl, No real reason, just like KNOWING!
Take care and hope that the next 9 weeks does go quickly for you! How exciting! Can NOT wait to see pictures of this little rainbow baby!!!!!!!

Hello to all and hope you are doing well. Congratulations to baby2929 I think that is wonderful news. Hope all goes well for you.

kerri2628: hope your ttc goes good for you. I just did blood work yesturday and it still shows 10 hcg which dr. says is still a positive result. I don't understand how that is possible when af already showed her face. My dh asked are we going to try again and I said if it happens it happens. I hope it does happen so we will see. Let me know how things go with you.

ready4number4: you are in the home streach. Keep us all informed as what happens hope your plans for home birth goes the way you want it.

less than 2 weeks left that's amazing. you will have to catch me up a little..did you find out the sex of your baby? I remember the 2 week count down little did I know then that my little girl would wait another 9 days after that before she decided to come! Lets hope that doesnt happen to you! Is this your last baby or are you open to having more?

After getting my negative test, at first i was relieved but the more I thought about it i like my husband was a little upset. I know its not the right time for us but who doesnt love getting that BFP. I loved being pregnant and feeling them move. Just the connection you have to the baby is such an amazing feeling and to be honest I really miss that. I know when the time is right we will add another one.
