How long did it take you to conceive after Mirena IUD removal?

Has anyone had the Mirena IUD and had it removed to ttc. I am just curious how long it took you to conceive after Mirena IUD removal?  How long until your menstrual cylces were regular? I got my IUD out on Aug 5th and am ttc. I have had lots of spotting and maybe a period but nothing regular.  I called my doc and they said that it takes 3 months before the hormones are out of your system. The mirena website makes it sound as though you can get pregnant anytime after removal.  Any advice/stories would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Well, almost 30 weeks!  Did my 3 hour glucose test...nurse said one of the numbers was like 190 so they are waiting for the doc to see results and let me know if I have gestational diabetes or not.  She said at the end of the test my numbers were back to 145 which is normal, so we will see.  

Xander's heartbeat was 151 bpm yesterday at the checkup and he loves to move!  He is still transverse, so most likely he will stay transverse like Sophia was two years ago.  Guess it is mandatory c-section anyway, which is scheduled for Aug 12 @ 1:30pm.  

I kinda want to do another sonogram, so I will probably due another 3D next week some time.  I want to see what he looks like and make sure for a third time he is still a HE!  lol..  

How is everyone else doing?  I hope these next 9 weeks goes by super quick!

kimmie232 I feel your pain!!!! I am a super contracty person, and have been having a lot of them this time around! It is such a pain! I hope that means labor will be easier and go faster!!!!! I can hope can't I??! Can't believe your 28 weeks already!!! Did you find out boy or girl or are you guys waiting to find out??

I am doing well, 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant, getting tired of being pregnant!!! I am uncomfortable now and just ready to be done. I am 1cm dilated and 50% effaced with a soft cervix... baby is head down ready to be born! I have the house in order, for the most part, want to make and freeze some meals for after baby comes. But I feel very ready!!!! We are going to attempt a home birth this time, so we will see how that goes!

Well Hello Everyone! Long time no talk! I am now 28 Weeks and counting, So ready for this to be over! I have been having crazy braxton Hicks, which I never have with any of my babies! Glad to see everyone is doing good!  
Baby2929 Congrats to you and good luck! As for me, once this baby is born, I am so getting fixed and hubby is too!!!!

Hi everyone! Gosh I haven't been here for a long time either! I'm not ttc or anything now, I had a tubal ligation when I had my c/s with Mia, who is 14 months old today!!! Where the heck has the time gone, she's not my baby anymore, she is a toddler :( Congrats to all the ladies I was in here with who have had their babies and have BFPs once again, very happy for you all xx

I took a test and it was a BFN. I told my husband and he was upset. I was kind of shocked the way he acted. It's not that I dont want another baby I just dont want one now. We are in the process of selling our house and buying a new one that is stressful enough. I dont want to add another baby to that. DD is getting so big and she has got such a little attitude. I thought my little girl was going to be a lover like my DS. SHe is showing me different! so stubborn!. I cant believe my son is almost 6 ( on the 10th).
