Brown discharge, itching, cystitis.

On Friday I woke up with cystitis, I have had it a couple of times in the past so I wasn't too worried and I drank lots of water and it went away within 3 hours, the next morning i woke up in alot of pain in the abdominal area. I went to the toilet and found a brownish discharge, I was due on, but there wasn't enough of it to be my period and it was very light over the past few days, I haven't come on yet and I'm getting worried. I have also been experiencing horrible itching inside my vagina and I get very uncomfortable. My boyfriend recently had problems with itching and red dots on his penis, but I am his first sexual partner I went to my doctor yesterday and he gave me a one day course of capsules to cure thrush, and I haven't had the cystitis feelings today, but when I do go to the toilet it towads the end of urinating I felt as if my cystitis was going to return, but it doesn't. I'm getting very worried and the pain in my abdominal is still there but not so bad. Should I go back to the doctor?

if the symptoms aren't as bad today i would keep on what the doctor gave you, if it seems to get worse over then next few days then go back to your doctor. I woke up this morning to brown discharge, and I called my doctor and they told me that it could be left over tissue from my last period. Hopes this helps!
