Having skin and deformation issues with my right nipple?

I'm thirteen, and everything else about me is normal, height, weight, etc. Sometime around last year, my right nipple (the top of it) became cracked and developed almost scaly skin. I applied lotion and after a few weeks the dry skin issue disappeared, however I was left with a mishapen nipple. My right nipple became larger and wider than my left and has a white ring around it kind of like a wrinkle and the top doesn't really have an opening, it's like when it healed it sealed up and joined together. I'm not sure what to do, can this lead to cancer when I'm older or a problem with breastfeeding?

I wouldn't take the issue that far, breast cancer is super rare in the young. First off, get a clean Q-tip and get it wet and see if you can pull any flaky white stuff out of the tip of the nipple with it, sometimes skin oils fill in all the crevices in the nipple and make it look unusual.  Second, ask your mom to take you to a gynecologist, and have the gynecologist tell you if it is something to worry about or not.  If the gynecologist shrugs it off and doesn't give you a satisfactory answer, ask to have an appointment with a dermatologist.
