Periods are often abnormal in frequency in the first several years. Your body is just adjusting to the hormonal changes and everything hasn't evened out yet. As time goes on, you'll probably find that it evens out and comes a little bit more regularly. It's always something you could bring up to your doctor at your next visit, though, if you're worried.
