Lower stomach pain and brown discharge

Hello, I have been getting lower stomach pains for a few days now and ive now started getting a fair amount of brown discharge. I had a miscarriage last month and have been having unprotected sex as my doctor said it was fine to carry on trying as i was only 1 or 2 weeks pregnant. Could i be pregnant or could i be coming on my period? I would be grateful for any comments.

Hiya thankyou for your comment, my doctor originally thought I had an infection from the miscarriage and i was put on antibiotics again but i had now been experiencing lower abdominal pains again like i did before when i had endometriosis. I have been back to my GP and had blood tests and urine samples and everything came black all clear so they said all it could be was endo again! I am being referred again to the gyne to see what they say. It is possible to get it back after 3 months of having a laparoscopy?

Hello,
Brown discharge can be due to pregnancy, ovarian problems, hormonal imbalance, stress, anxiety, crashed dieting, use of birth control pills, change in environment, excessive exercise etc. Heavy bleeding can be due to can be due to hormonal imbalance, fibroids and polyps (non cancerous growth) in the uterus, endometriosis (deposits of the inner lining of the uterus in the pelvic cavity) etc. You might have to go for a complete hormone profile and ultrasonography to know the cause of this.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
