Periods related issue

I am 40 days late to my period but i did two home test all turned out negative so went to doctor he took a scan and said i am not pregnant and no cyst and no fibroids  but i feel dizzy sometimes and yet to get my periods

Hi there.  Yes, there are other things in the gynecological area that can cause a very long cycle which is what a super late period is.  They may check your hormone levels and your thyroid.  I had periods every 3 to 4 months due to a slow thyroid.  This is not uncommon.  So, you've ruled out pregnancy and now it is time to figure out what is going on to cause you to have such a long cycle.  Work with your doctor on this.  good luck
