Missed Period, On Birth Control Pills.

I have been taking Birth Control for a year now, I havent missed a pill and always took the pills within 3 hours of each other. Though, this past month me and my boyfriend just kinda fooled around without protection but he didnt actually finish. We fooled around on a Saturday, 2 days later I fell asleep and took the pill about 8 hours late (this was my first missed pill) , the day after I started having some light pink but mostly brown spotting and it lasted for about 4 days. Well, now I am past my placebo week and haven't had a period. Could taking that pill late cause me to miss a period? Im worried for pregnancy.

Yeah, I dont know if this can effect it or not either, but the day before my placebo pill I had a friend pass which upseted me greatly. We only fooled around one time and it was the time I wrote about. I have decided im taking a test if nothing has changed by next week. Thank you.

It's possible that your light spotting was your "period". It's also possible you're really stressed out about this, which is causing you to have an odd period. However, pregnancy is a possibility, so take a test. Make sure you take it with your first morning urine. You may have to take another test in a week or so.
