Ladies, I'm 31 and I've had night sweats for a few years now. I work in the OR and just in the past 2 years have received quite a bit of OB-GYN procedure training. First, after reading through all of these comments and questions I will tell you I have never heard of a "Post Tubal Ligation" Syndrome....I need to look into that and confirm whether it is a true syndrome at all. Second, I have learned from a few OB-GYNS I work with in surgery, that night sweats can also be indicative of Ovarian Cysts or Polycystic Ovarian Disease. Who knew?! It's very bizarre, but since there are so many of us who are so young on here to be going through menopause....I will ask if any of you have been diagnosed with Ovarian Cysts? Also, have any of you been around repeated Xray, CAT Scans or Radiology related radiation without protection (lead aprons?) I know extensive radiation can cause early menopause. I will say that I have had increasing difficulty with these night sweats (especially in the Texas Summer Heat!) and that Brookstone has a device that has really helped me...called a "Bed Fan". Maybe that will help some of you? And I'm going to see my OBGYN this month, I will see what more she can tell me about this problem.
