What will happen if I have sex while taking medicine for bv?

I found out I had bacterial vaginosis April 11,2018 Started my medication April 12, 2018.. I had sex three days later on April 15. I haven't had sex since then but I'm still taking the medicine I have 3 days left of it. Did me having sex that one day cause anything? It's wasn't protected and this is the person who gave it to me thru sex. (He was sleeping with me and another girl)

Just don't have sex while you're on the treatment just as you shouldn't drink when you're on this treatment, especially so if you're taking the antibiotic vaginally with the gel.

If the amount of the antibiotic was to be just the length of time needed to end the BV, and then you had sex three days later, you should ask your doctor for three more days of antibiotics. You basically re-exposed yourself.

Bacterial vaginosis isn't an STD.
The medication can compromise condoms causing them not to be affective though.
